Your events already live in Google Calendar, Outlook, iCloud, Teamup or ChMeetings, and you want the same calendar on a Wix page without typing every event a second time.
An iCal address (also called an ICS or iCalendar feed) is a link to a plain text file that lists your events. Most calendar tools offer one under a "share", "subscribe" or "export" option; the link usually ends in .ics or starts with webcal://. Events Calendar Sync downloads that file on a schedule and shows the events in a widget on your site.
The address must be reachable without a login: the app reads it the way an anonymous visitor would. https:// links are used as they are; webcal:// and webcals:// links are converted to https://, and http:// links are upgraded to https://. Anything else shows Enter the full calendar address, starting with https:// or webcal://.
A secret address pasted under the public option is refused with This is a secret iCal address. Choose "Google Calendar — private (secret address)" above and paste it there.
webcal://)..ics).Most calendar tools offer an "iCal", "ICS" or "webcal" subscription link in their sharing or export settings. Paste it under Any other iCal / .ics address.
Free: one calendar, refreshed hourly. Adding a second one shows Your plan allows 1 calendar. Upgrade to Pro for up to 10 calendars, 5-minute refresh, the week view and more.
Pro ($4.99/month, or $3.99/month billed yearly, cancel anytime): up to 10 calendars with colors and filter chips, refresh every 5 minutes instead of hourly, week view, and add-to-calendar buttons for visitors. Upgrade with the Upgrade to Pro button at the top of the dashboard. When all ten are in use: All 10 calendars of the Pro plan are in use. Switch one off or remove it to connect another.
The app keeps a cached copy of each feed and serves it to visitors. Calendars refresh every hour on Free and every 5 minutes on Pro while visitors use the site, or immediately when you click Sync now in the dashboard. A change made in Google, Outlook or Teamup shows up within one interval.
Each sync covers a fixed window: from the first day of last month to the end of the same month next year. A feed may be up to 5 MB, must answer within 8 seconds and is capped at 1,500 events per calendar; larger calendars still work but show Partial.
